Role Purpose
The Project Manager Platform Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end execution of platform engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms aligned to the Company’s Africa strategic objectives.
Job Accountabilities
Programme & Delivery Management
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Drive delivery across cloud, infrastructure, and security initiatives
- Manage cross-team dependencies and delivery risks
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Act as primary delivery interface to stakeholders
- Facilitate governance forums and reporting
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Track financial performance and support cost optimisation
Risk & Issue Management
- Maintain RAID logs
- Manage Escalations and risk mitigation
Reporting & Delivery Assurance
- Produce executive reports
- Track KPIs and delivery performance
